Guests, including LATTE, feasted on Matt Moran’s sumptuous shared menu, featuring wood-fired focaccia, beetroot salad, grilled baby octopus, whole roasted chicken and the standout Moran Family lamb shoulder with baby eggplant and chermoula.Guests were told of the newly chartered Boeing 757-200, configured to seat just 50 passengers in spacious luxury, will fly with Captain’s Choice guests to destinations that might otherwise take days to travel between on four separate itineraries, including a rare Around-the-World Journey.Each itinerary has been individually curated to deliver authentic and meaningful experiences in destinations as popular as Venice and as remote as Easter Island, while the miles between them are spent in effortless luxury.Unusually for a luxury jet operator, Captain’s Choice has designed all journeys bar one to depart from Sydney, removing the need for Australian travellers to fly long-haul on a commercial airline to meet their travelling co-hort.Captain’s Choice Executive General Manager, Rob Tandy, said the new programme represented an evolution in private jet touring for the brand, which pioneered the travel style for the Australian market in the 1990s.Notions of what constitutes luxury travel change.
